The initial bidding war for the rights to produce the American adaptation of Skins was fought between MTV and The CW. As we all know, MTV won. Be glad.
The show will be filmed entirely in Toronto. Green screens will be used in certain situations (to include landmarks, etc). This is much like how Heroes and Fringe are filmed.
